For the past three years, the Japanese Society of Cairns has proudly brought the Cairns Japan Bon Dance Festival
to the city.  A community celebration of Japanese culture and a real crowd pleaser, we are once again planning to showcase the festival in 2018 on Sunday 2 September at Fogarty Park on Esplanade.

The Event & Audience
- Runs 2pm to 8pm on the high-exposure Fogarty Park on Cairns Esplanade.
- Attracted over 7 000 visitors in 2017
- Press coverage included local television news, local newspaper & radio coverage
- Event is popular with families, as well as a broad range of people interested in culture, food, and travel.

We will also be running a raffle during the event, with half of the proceeds going to support charity.
