Cairns Woodworkers Guild
Want to learn more about Woodworking? We are a local not for profit organisation that is dedicated in sharing the knowledge and skills of our members in woodworking. Regular classes covering wood turning to joinery offered to both members and the public. New members are always welcome.
The Cairns Woodworkers Guild was formed more than 20 years ago with the aim of providing a workshop / tools and fostering the knowledge and skills of working with timber.
The workshop has seen many ongoing upgrades over the years. It's very well equiped due to the hard work and fundraising efforts of members, and the generous support of the Cairns Regional Council.
Members include both men, women and youth from 13 years of age. We encourage those interested in woodworking to take the time to visit us. Have a chat, get a tour of the facilities and browse through our gallery.
