CPAC plays an integral role in the development of the arts and arts appreciation in our region through meaningful engagement with both the general public and a diverse collection of creatives.
At CPAC, patrons relish the opportunity to witness innovative and debut performances alongside a well-crafted mix of classics, revived theatrical pieces and a wide range of touring productions. Our ongoing program of events encompasses a particular focus on youth, new collaborations and to provide a platform for local performing artists.
With multiple performance spaces across the CPAC precinct, the versatility of the venue ensures a vast variety of events can be hosted, including theatre, music, dance, contemporary circus, opera, film, comedy and more.
The site includes a proscenium arch theatre, complete with an orchestra pit able to accommodate an entire symphony orchestra. With 941 seats in the house, the theatre offers premium viewing regardless of where you are seated.
CPAC also houses a studio theatre space, which can seat up to 400 people and can be reconfigured by the automated flooring system, enabling the presentation of a multitude of events.
Across Florence Street you will find Munro Martin Parklands (MMP). Complete with a green proscenium stage, (the largest of its kind in Australia), the venue is the perfect place to experience the arts under a tropical sky. Click here to read more about MMP.
